The Financial Times features Diamond Foundry and Fidelity’s $200m investment in the company.
This funding makes Fidelity one of our three most prominent investors, along with the creator of the first network computer, Andy Bechtolsheim, and the creator of the first iPhone, Tony Fadell.
We will use the funding to quadruple production at our Washington State factory up to 5m carats by the end of 2023.
We also plan to spend part of the investment on perfecting the creation of single-crystal diamond wafers for the semiconductor industry.
